McDonald & Ross was contracted by BC Hydro and Power Authority for the installation of helical piles with accessories/attachments at two BC Hydro towers at the Guildford Golf Course, 152nd Street Surrey, BC.
The project included:
1) Setting and arranging lane closure 2) Placement of silt fencing around pond and creek
3) Environmental monitoring/testing of water quality
4) Installation of permanent gate on 152nd Street
5) Securing work site with snow fencing
6) Placement of durabase mats from sidewalk to within 10' of tower (12'x8'x2"
7) Deewatering equipment on site
8) Coordination with Almita Piling Inc. for helical piling
9) Painting and coating of tower legs
10) Backfilling and compaction
11) Compaction testing as needed
12) Site Remediation and final clean up
