McDonald & Ross was contracted for the construction of a multi-plate open bottom arch culvert on West Creek at the 7200 Block of 252A Crescent. The work included the following: • Removal and off-site disposal of the existing 3900mm x 2400mm corrugated steel pipe (CSP) culvert. • Installation of 12.8 metres of 5800mm wide x 2900mm high open bottom multi-plate arch culvert. • Installation of Redi-rock MSE headwalls. • Geogrid stabilized back fill. • Riprap bank protection/stabilization works. • Dewatering on site • Road restoration. • Riprap bank protection/stabilization works. • Coordination with third-party utility companies to protect/reinstate existing gas utilities. • Environmental protection associated with works in and around a sensitive watercourse • site remediation
